What Sisterhood.pk stands for ..

The purpose behind sisterhood.pk goes beyond providing cheaper alternatives to the over-priced fashion items in the retail outlets. 

The essence of our business as referred by the name 'Sisterhood' is to empower women to work with each other to create a women oriented market place and  build a better sustainable environment. We don't only wish to encourage women to make money through this platform but also intend on normalizing the idea of 'pre-loved' items. 

Among many stereotypes existing in our culture, a generic disdain towards second hand (used) items has clouded our logical thinking for decades. Used items are perceived to be worn only by the people from 'lower income group'. This, however, is far from truth. People around the world are adopting to the pre-loved lifestyle. Sadly, in our culture; even among the people who buy used items, many of them would never want to reveal. This is the issue we have chosen to talk about through sisterhood.pk i.e there is no shame in buying used stuff. If anything, you should be more proud and loud about it. 

We wish to educate our people on the benefits of buying pre-loved items and break the invisible mental barriers against used items. We hope to inspire young girls to be different, to be unique, to not fall prey to these limiting mindsets and make a difference. Pre-loved purchases should not remain hidden in your closets, they should be talked about and cherished!
